The Wrapping Matters!
I just can't help it. I am a terrible fabric addict. I was almost out of this precious hearts fabric I like to use for my Valentine's Day dresses. So I went on an on-line hunt for it the other day. I was very happy to find more of the fabric in 3 different places. One on Etsy and two on Ebay. All sellers were very helpful and nice when asked questions. But I have to say I would order from one fabric seller again because it was a real joy to receive the package. The wrapping was so incredibly cute. The yardage was wrapped in a protective plastic bag and had the cutest little bow with heartshaped buttons.

A friend asked me to pick up a set of knitting needles for her when I went to yarn shop that was having a sale. I found the needles she requested and we plan to have lunch together tomorrow where I will give them to her. I wondered whether to wrap them up or not. They are not a present. They are not a surprise. But why not wrap them in pretty fabric with bright spring flowers on it? Maybe I could tie it up with a bow made out of nice yarn. It might brighten her day. Thanks for the inspiration!
What a sweet idea! I am sure your friend will love it.
