Drawings for my new website...

I have been dreaming of having my own website for years. Will it ever become a reality?

I am currently working on some drawings for my new website. It's been a while since I held a pencil in my hand. I have not had much practice lately. A sewing needle and a pencil are animals of a different color. Wouldn't you agree? All my energy has been focused on sewing over the last few years.

But my daughter got very excited when she watched me drawing. She is my greatest fan in the world. "Mom, I think that drawing looks really good", she kept saying to me.

What do you think? Do you agree?

Ha, hope those bubbles will make you spring into action! I am having a blast with my artsupplies. It took me a while to dig them out from the basement. It is very rewarding!

Thanks, Matthew! There will be color soon, I hope. Since I can't do the computer stuff I am getting help from a graphic designer. I really hope it will be finished soon. I can't wait to see what she did with my drawings...

How long? Hmmm, I'd say since pre-school. I actually have a kids book that I drew and wrote a few years ago. I wrote the story and drew the pictures. I submitted it to lots of publishers. I got a great big file of rejection letters...Maybe time to try again?

A very cute drawing, indeed! :) The little mermaid did stand out among the rest of the group because of her pretty tail. ;) Being notable among others is an important reminder when coming up with a website; the more unique and innovative your website is, the more chances you have of gaining visitors. But remember to keep the content updated and interesting.

How sweet of your daughter. :) The one in the middle must be Ariel. Where's Sebastian and Flounder? Haha :P You've got some great freehand drawing skills! Two thumbs up! By the way, Matthew's right. Coloring it would add more life to it. Use pastel to make it look more attractive.
