Well I am finally back to sewing again. It feels so good after 7 very stressful years as a German teacher.
I will miss my students. I will miss my fellow teachers. But I will not miss administrators...

What else is new? I am trying to build up my Etsyshop again. I mean I never stopped making dolls. But didn't have much time as teacher. Some days I barely had time for my family or to eat or breathe. Make sure you are nice to teachers. They work so hard. And get paid so little.
Still I kept my doll shop open. It's been great to finally reach that milestone of 3000 Sales. I am so proud of it. Took me only 15 years. LOL. But Etsy has changed.
The other day I found some advertisement on Instagram for an etsy sales training. It was run by this dude who claimed to have the perfect sales formula. I was intrigued, at first. But then the dude suggested that to be successfull one should copy other folks' stuff. Find Bestsellers and copy them - he says. That's what he did with his decals. Really? I was not impressed.
Maybe I will never get to 14K sales. But I refuse to buy into that concept. I will keep plugging away at my little shop.
