Sophie's Audition...

Poor Sophie! She had worked so hard on her dance moves all year. Never missed a class. 

Then she went to Nutcracker auditions and didn't get the part she tried out for... 

Why mommy? Are the other kids really that much better than me? 

At first, all Sophie wanted to do was cry. The disappointment was just more than her little heart could stand.

 Since the moment she started walking all she had ever wanted to do was dance...

But you can't stay sad forever. So this little fighter picked herself up and went back to dance class. I'll show them! See you at auditions next year!

Helena - a sweet ballerina doll

Gladly I present to you little Helena, my sweet ballerina doll. She will be up for auction tonight.

Helena measures 12 inches. I made her from my own germandolls pattern. Her body is made from high quality Dutch cotton interlock and stuffed firmly with wool. Her blond tresses are made of soft mohair.

Helena loves to dance. She was so happy when her mom signed her up for her first ballet class. After all, she has been standing on her toes since she started to walk...

Helena comes with the following clothing items:

pink skirt

pink tights (not shown)

pink leotard

ballet slippers

warm-up jacket

hairties
