Colorful Carrots

Today we harvested carrots from our community garden patch. They were so pretty I just have to share this photo.



They come in red, white, yellow, and orange. The yellow and white ones taste more like a parsnip. I made a carrot salad for dinner.

    Beautiful!...We have a clay based soil...I have not yet been able to grow carrots...but if I could I would grow this kind...

    that's too bad. I think carrots are my favorite thing to grow. It's like going for a treasury hunt when you harvest them...
