Happy May Day Fruit Blossom Guessing Game

Here are perfect pictures for May from my garden for you. I had to take them quickly before it snows again...Can you believe that we had snow again two days ago? I know it's Colorado. I have been living here for nearly fourteen years. It still throws me off every time. One always has to worry about loosing all the fruit on the fruit trees. We have plenty of them. What use is a garden if you can't eat what grows in it? Can you guess which blossom is from what kind of fruit tree?Your choices are: prune, apricot, pear, cherry, or maybe apple. You need to identify each of the three blossoms.     Okay, there are 3 pictures. Please tell what kind of blossom each picture shows. Number one is a ...blossom. Number two is a.... Last picture is a ...blossom. Come on you can do it! =)

    well, I thought #3 was apple, but now I think it's cherry. #2 is pear. Maybe. :)

    We have a relatively new orchard so I'll take a stab at it.

    Picture 1 Pear

    Picture 2 Apple

    Picture 3 Apricot

    Either way (right or wrong) fruit trees are so beautiful when they are in bloom.

    Picture number one shows pear blossoms, Picture two shows apple blossoms, and Picture number three shows cherry blossoms.

    1 = Cherry
    2 = Pear
    3 = Plum

    Ok...here's my post from before...

    1 - cherry
    2- cherry
    3 - apricot

    I hope you get more cherries than I...we planted cherry trees (I know, good luck in the San Fernando Valley, lol) and got four cherries! Two of them were gone this morning :( we picked the other two for safe keeping...and eating!
